Our Mission
The Marvelous Child Development Center is not just a daycare. We believe children should be active in their own learning and not just passively observe. We take the Reggio Emilia approach to guide children as they interact with their surroundings and encourage them to express themselves. We believe that children are collaborators and learn through interaction with their community. We create a healthy environment that is eco-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and serves as a “third teacher.” Children are well-nourished, with daily-prepared fresh, organic, and locally sourced food. No need for parents to provide snacks or any supplies, we would rather keep you focused as an active participant with our Whole-Child approach to development.

The Story of Marvelous Child.
“I am inspired to create the Marvelous Child Development Center because of my experience in searching for a daycare for my own two children as the options available did not meet my expectations.
I offer a healthy environment which invigorates the senses and allows for children to flourish. We’re creating a unique setting that offers eco-friendly learning tools, a children’s garden, a variety of organic food options and multiple presentations of themes that lead to open exploration and questions about the world that surrounds us. As a mother and an educator, I am eager to share this vision not only with my own toddler and preschooler but with all children.
I want to integrate the natural experiences that I grew up with in the Rhodope Mountains of Bulgaria. My hands-on, free-play childhood led me to the brilliant Reggio Emilia approach to education. An approach which allows children to express themselves in 100 ways. With a Master’s in Bilingual Education and over a decade of teaching experience, Diyana is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences inspired by nature, creativity, and child-led exploration. As a mother, educator, and founder of Marvelous Child, she is dedicated to nurturing curiosity, connection, and lifelong learning.

Jamie Brinker – Lead Teacher
Passionate early childhood educator dedicated to helping children build confidence, independence, and empathy through supportive, nurturing relationships. Loves watching children discover their potential and celebrate their successes.
Isabel Martinez
Infant Teacher
With over 10 years of early childhood education experience, Isabel is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. Her international background and love for children help her build strong connections with families and students.
Mariam Nisan
Toddler Assistant Teacher
Mariam is a Toddler Assistant Teacher who is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Inspired by caring for younger family members, she is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and reach important developmental milestones. She is dedicated to creating a loving, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
